Sasuke spoilerific review ;) Warning.. incoming blog of Sasuke 27.. if you don’t want to know.. you have been warned :D (Just remember.. the USA Broadcast of this.. will be.. well.. March, 2012.. Yes.. you read that right.. another 5 months after taping this event back in July... Thanks to everyone for being so patient. Got sick with headaches again this year and am still recovering from an inner ear infection.. yum.. Anyway.. For a preview of this event.. Please see SASUKE 27 NAVI 1 hour review of Sasuke 27 with fluff pieces of all the major players in the upcoming Sasuke and even a couple of runs that were cut from the official broadcast!. Oh.. and as Ube says: If you are from the G4 Forums, DON'T POST THIS THERE. They expect everyone to stick their head in the sand and pretend it doesn't exist.. P.S. I will NOT be covering ANW3 on this blog especially since it aired a couple months ago and I prefer to blog about everyone at once.. not in isolation! Thanks!

For those who are unfamiliar with wtf I'm talking about.. G$ er.. sorry G4 and TBS teamed up in the Spring (May, 2011) for an auction (using ebay) to benefit the Japanese Red Cross in response to the disaster in the Tohoku Region (Earthquake/Tsunami). TBS in turn would provide the winning bid of the Ninja Warrior Experience with a spot on Sasuke 27.
There were several auctions including a shirt signed by Nagano, Yuuji and Okuyama that fetched $2000 for the Japan Relief charity!
These were shown to competitors during ANW3.. though much to their chagrin.. their clothes were the only ones invited back.. This of course was Nagano's wifebeater™, tabi and one of his saddlecloths
Shingo's hat.. of which my husband wants royalties for noticing it's curse.. LOL
and Takeda's orangie pantsuNeedless to say.. fans would have much preferred to see the people wearing them instead...
Either way the auction was announced by G4's Attack of the Show (AOTS) whom also donated items (and even people - they donated Sarah Underwood (Playboy/AOTS) for over $7k!) to the charity event which raised quite a considerable amount of money
This guy paid $3,050 in US Dollars to the benefit while gaining a spot on Sasuke 27. NO they didn't pay his airfare, accommodations, transportation, etc... Which honestly cut into the potential money that could have been raised for this charity. Either way I'm happy a fan made it to the show and money was 100% donated to the Japanese Red Cross. I'm also happy that TBS showed him since G4 who ran the thing couldn't be bothered to soil ANW3's broadcast on NBC with a fan who won his spot by donating on ebay to a charity... /sigh I'm digressing again aren't I?

Ah! They are back in time! Seems the Muscle Musical マッスルミュージカル troupe that moved and lived in Las Vegas for 2 years made it back to Japan just in time for Sasuke!
As I blogged about before, Muscle Musical had a troupe in Las Vegas from July, 2009 to July, 2011. Seems their last show was on the 16th in the USA and we know this taped on the 18th in Japan!
This specific performer is 金子陽祐 Yosuke Kaneko
The banner behind him I assume were the well-wishes of those when they left Vegas?

Those of you might remember Jaguar Mechanic Hidenori Nagasawa 長澤 秀則We couldn't quite get the interview to fruition but we know he competed again today! Will we see his run? will it get cut? or will it be digested?
Seems Kinnikun went to his place to train since it's been eons since he participated in Sasuke
In fact Kinni's last Sasuke was Sasuke 15 back in 2005! Which btw Nagasawa was also a part of

Great work, do you think TBS ratings of 12.2 will be enough to make sasuke 28 a reality?
Actually TBS was the one that tweeted 2nd place and 12.6% http://twitter.com/#!/TBS_prosales/status/121196109690445824 I am really really hopeful that it's enough to continue with Sasuke 28! I think it's enough personally but only time will tell. I'm seriously crossing my fingers!
