On all three websites - Sasuke Mania, Monster 9 and Muscle Park.. the official announcement of Sasuke 24 was already announced! You read right.. I'm not even done my Sasuke 23 blog and Sasuke 24 is announced!!
Now the BIG thing is this.. it's listed as DECEMBER, 2009. I'm not sure if the tournament or the deadline is December but that's reaaally early. It's not unusual though, back in 2005 they had 3 tournaments in one year (January, July and then December) so they have done it.

A couple things to note. Monster 9 is handling the applications.. (please note new address) AND as of this date.. we are not sure of the exact Deadline. It says December but not sure if that's the deadline date or the actual taping date... THIS is awesome news :D I'm doing my best to not be pessimistic thinking this is a farewell tournament if they are looking for a final result..
Anyone else getting excited? :D
P.S. To further compound the stupidity of G4.. Anyone else find it funny that Sasuke 24 will take place the same month G4 will AIR Sasuke 23? Yeah.. I thought so :)

I saw this on Muscle Park's site this morning and I commented on it on the Sasuke Maniacs site. I'm glad they're doing another one so soon, but I also hope that this isn't going to be the last one. I know that the fans would be pretty disappointed, but imagine how the competitors would feel. Especially the All-Stars. They like competing, but they also like hanging out together, and since they live in different areas of Japan, it's hard for them to get together except at Sasuke or Sasuke related events. I really hope Sasuke is not canceled. Looking forward to Sasuke 24!
I'm trying to be positive and hoping with them making a new website and getting money from the licensing from ANW and winning their timeslots that it's just a move to get away from the ratings sapping Olympics. Let's see what happens.
Also I'm thrilled so many other people find these things now :) Means more people are just as interesting in keeping up with this stuff :)
