Right from the start he has major issues
I still cannot believe he managed to hang on to that plank one-handed like that..
And this is where it all went wrong...
Right there all of his momentum was going backwards. He already let go of the plank at this point
And he knew at this point he was going backwards..
As a last ditch effort he tried to jump back ONTO the obstacle to save himself..
But the plank was already tilted so he couldn't get a grip..
and just helplessly fell into the water

Hope he comes back to Sasuke 24 and kicks some serious butt!(P.S. He was lamenting the technique.. he tried to do it like the Gliding Ring)
