Please see SASUKE NAVI FALL 2010 (1 hour review of Sasuke 24 with fluff pieces of all the major players in the upcoming Sasuke!) and the SASUKE PREVIEW SHOW that aired an hour before the official broadcast. He's had to go to Sasuke Trials THREE STRAIGHT TIMES.. even though he actually cleared each time.
During Sasuke 23 though he did clear Stage 1 of Sasuke for the first time and earned the right to be re-invited again. Phew.. I swear..

Speaking of sucking .. this next competitor fell into the water from the Spider Walk portion of the Jumping Spider when he got too impatient and tried to jump the the platform.. and of course.. whiffed..

He screams in anger LOL and even throws a tantrum in the water (seems he was concentrating too hard on the next obstacle the Jumping Spider and let his mind wander on the Log Grip)

I associate the little trot up the Warped Wall to Naoki Iketani. Either he or the earlier trampolinist with the wrist problem was one of the first to do that little turn. I think it's actually a pretty fair timing mechanism, but I have no idea what the percentages would be if were to tally everyone up based on whether you did the turn or if you gathered your energy while standing still.
Of course, if you can build up any momentum on the ramp to the Warped Wall, you should.

Yeah Arty. Yukio is actually lucky to be alive after that fall honestly. I remember seeing it and grabbing my throat for hours..
Hey Slam :) Yeah Iketani is definitely known for the swagger on there and usually he got it on the first try but lately he hasn't had the same oomph to get him up the wall. I just don't like the delays on that thing though.. you can see how many just made it or timed out just on that one obstacle alone.
