Sasuke spoilerific review ;) Warning.. incoming blog of Sasuke 24.. if you don’t want to know.. you have been warned :D For a preview of this event.. Please see SASUKE NAVI FALL 2010 (1 hour review of Sasuke 24 with fluff pieces of all the major players in the upcoming Sasuke!) and the SASUKE PREVIEW SHOW that aired an hour before the official broadcast. Bare with me.. this show was 5 1/2 hour long (not including the specials..).. Took a break to see Sportsman #1 and rest as best I could. Hopefully I'll have more up this week coming up. This is the 4th obstacle - Shin-Cliffhanger 新クリフハンガー

The resting place of Levi Meeuwenberg リーヴァイ・ミューエンバーグ in Sasuke 20 and 23

Yoshiyuki Okuyama 奥山義行 in Sasuke 22

And Taiwan's Lee Enchi リー・エンチ also in Sasuke 22

This is the 6th obstacle - Hang Climbing ハングクライミング

Resting place of Toshihiro Takeda 竹田敏浩 in Sasuke 21

Which directly connects to the 7th obstacle - Spider Flip スパイダーフリップ

Resting place to Yoshiyuki Okuyama 奥山義行 in Sasuke 23

And of Toshihiro Takeda 竹田敏浩 in Sasuke 23

The 8th and the last obstacle - Gliding Ring グライディングリング

Resting place of Makoto Nagano 長野誠 in Sasuke 21 when it was still affectionately known as the "Grinding" Ring

and painfully in Sasuke 23 - Kenji Takahashi 高橋 賢次

LOL It's cold if they cracked out the kerosene heaters.. Yuuji is having a convo with Kenji about it.

He's doing just fine (and no I don't think this obstacle is a fail :p I thought it was fine for what it was :p)

Yuuji.. this looks easy doesn't it?

Yeah.. I think it's fail.. (take a drink.. Descente..)

3rd obstacle - Devil Steps デビルステップス

Tajima did this a lot actually.. put his hand over his heart as if to jump start it.. poor kid's heart must be pounding!

And yes this angle always freaks me out...

This is the 4th obstacle - Shin-Cliffhanger 新クリフハンガー

Looking good...

And EASY clear!

5th obstacle - Jumping Bars ジャンピングバー

Geez.. he's flying through this thing..

He hasn't put his leg up once.. it's all ARMS!!

Okay this is pretty sick.. he's only using his arms to get up here..

And.. he's up.. zomg that was awesome..

The guys watching intently as this 23 year old is showing them up big time..

A collective "wtf..."

You have GOT to be kidding me...

Ah.. to be 23 again... (btw.. post 30 crowd sitting down..)

Back to our regularly scheduled program.. already in progress

7th obstacle - Spider Flip スパイダーフリップ

And.. off he goes!

Safe arrival!

Now getting ready to mount the "green bar of safety"

mmm.. to be sitting again...

Tajima now is trying to stretch out his fingers

And leans over carefully to grab the bar

.... (I saw this commercial A LOT today)

And we're back.. he actually puts his feet up on the bar and is ready to throw his body forward

And he JUMPS off with a huge push

..... WTF.....

So the commercial didn't show a tester.. it was REAL!!!!!!

Oh he desperately tries to get his 2nd hand back on the ring..

And loses the battle as he drops into the water!!!!

He had the right idea of pushing off with force.. but he forgot one crucial thing...

He forgot to "unhinge" the bar from the starting stopper...

And just rammed the ring in place...

Oh that's so heartbreaking!!!!!!!

Utter disbelief...

Post 30 crowd looking on...

wait for it...

The "omg no.."

and.. splash..

Every in varying degrees of shock and dismay

While Takeda throws his whole body back

And then the discussions start

Might as well be Arabic.. I still can't understand it :p

Takeda feels it internally..

LOL Takeda sits up and starts to kick his feet up like a 10 year old

Okuyama is still in shock.. he won't put his hands down.. Dude it's okay.. you are allowed to show emotion.. seriously.. you won't be mocked..

Poor Naoya Tajima 田島直弥 .. that has to be horrible for him.. Death by Gliding Ring

TBS Suckitude Chart™ - X gets the square...

Nagano still in disbelief..

Dude Shingo.. that's something you would do..

Tajima slowly walks over to be interviewed.. oh the thoughts running through his head right now..

Koji is shattered.. he's next and that was a fellow STQ'er

Let's relive his great moments though since this was a kicka$$ tournament for him - easy clear on the Shin-Cliffhanger

Ridiculous climb up the Hang Climbing to the Spider Flip with no leg/foot assistance whatsoever

And one more time.. man this was horrible to watch..

I cringed when I saw the person drop in the commercial .. I was HOPING it was a tester.. because TBS would be evil like that just to throw us off..

Right there the ring wasn't going anywhere.. it was still firmly hinged in place...

And all the force just made him dangle like a Raggedy Andy doll..

His desperate attempt to grab the ring with his left hand

And the fall.. soooo painful.. I mean he lasted longer than Sato iron gripping the Metal Spin.. but gosh that's painful to watch a screw up like this

.. I feel your pain..

Naoya Tajima 田島直弥 poor guy.. still covered in mud..

TBS is nice and gives him a towel to clean himself up

Nagano imparting words of wisdom while Shingo looks bored

.. God I hope that's not an omen...
