AnimeNext Sasuke Panel Update

On a personal note, as I've mentioned before, I'll be doing my very first Sasuke panel at an anime convention called AnimeNext.  The panel is named "Sasuke/Ninja Warrior Impact in the USA Market".  Since I'll be at an anime convention, I'm sure if I just put Sasuke on the description, most people there will think it's a Naruto panel. LOL

My goal is to cover the history of the event from it's inception in Sasuke 1 all the way to present using the lens of the foreign viewer.  The anime convention is as the graphic says, at the Garden State Exhibit Center on June 6-8, 2014 in Somerset, New Jersey. That is correct! However my specific panel will be held across a walkway in the DoubleTree Hotel at Somerset.

My panel is set for Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 12:30 PM upstairs in the DoubleTree Hotel.  My panel runs an hour, so it ends at 1:30 pm. My specific room in the DoubleTree Hotel is the Hillsborough Room (or DT Panel Room 2).  Wish me luck and hope to see some of you there!  I'm excited!

Here is the description of the Panel:

Sasuke/Ninja Warrior Impact in the USA Market
This panel will discuss the retrospective history of the long-running TBS Japan obstacle course show Sasuke. We will look at its impact on American culture when Ninja Warrior first aired on American television, as well as the current state of Sasuke as of 2014 and its relationship with its NBC counterpart, American Ninja Warrior.

I don't suppose you could record it and post it on here or Youtube for people like me who can't make, could you?

I do plan on recording it. I have to check what the policy is to post that online. Also, I hate Google+ so if I'm forced to join G+ just to use my damn Youtube Channel then I'm not posting it on that despite my channel preceding the idiotic policy. I'll wait until it's dropped before I do it.

Ok, is there anyway you could upload it here without putting it on Youtube?

I did mention that I have to first check what the con policy is on posting videos from the panels. After that I'll see how the video looks, then decide from there. No promises but you are hardly the first person to ask. :D

Awesome! I hope it works out

Most conventions don't really care if a panelist/company posts their stuff online after the fact; and the times that they do care, it's only because the panelist/company asked for the convention's assistance in making sure no one is recording. In those cases, it's usually the big Hollywood studios that don't want their super-exclusive trailer for a movie coming out in 3 years to be leaked online because they brought it as "exclusive content" for the attendees.

It's pretty much up to you as to whether or not the panel is recorded / uploaded. But, just in case, worst case scenario; it wouldn't hurt to ask.
