State of Sasuke Japan - Episode 1

State of Sasuke Japan - Episode 1

I mentioned before that I had a couple of BIG projects I started but didn't have an opportunity to post on.  This is actually a side project I only started recently.  Back in February I thought of trying something like this and I was really lucky to get a couple people interested in doing this with me!  This is the first of the interviews in this new project. A new interview series exploring the State of Sasuke (a.k.a. Ninja Warrior Japan) through the eyes of fans from different parts of the world, all walks of life and varying degrees of exposure. It's a look into the history, problems and hopefully solutions facing Sasuke in Japan today.

Note:  Sorry for the audio on this broadcast.  I had a setting on that I had not realized until the interview was concluded and I checked the audio.  I hope to correct that problem in future interviews.  Music was used in this episode to help balance out the change in sound pitch between the voices.

Y'know, I'm going to go ahead and say it right now. As much as I respect him contemplating quitting SASUKE, if he were to quit, ratings will plummet, and Sasuke will die a slow and painful death. Why? Because I think the reason they get good ratings is because of Nagano. They probably tune in halfway through the show, pretty much just to see Nagano. If he weren't there, ratings WILL plummet, BIG TIME.
