Post your questions for David Campbell!

Now that Sasuke 26 and American Ninja Warrior 2 has aired on G4 I can finally blog about David Campbell! I was very fortunate to get David to let me blog about him again. As you might remember he did an interview for Sasuke 22 - Here is his Sasuke 22 Blog :) Just like I did with Michael Milner (from Sasuke 20), Lucy Romberg (Sasuke 21) and Bret Sims (Sasuke 19 and 20) I'm going to be doing a blog entry on David! I'm posting this here and on both the Sasuke Maniac Forums and G4 boards, and on Twitter. For this blog just use the comments section at the end of this entry. I'll only keep the questions open for a short time. I figured since everyone will be checking the site for Sasuke/Ninja Warrior stuff I might get a lot of responses really fast.

Guidelines - please don't get too personal. I also have the right to not include all the questions and he also reserves the right to not answer all the questions :P Also - please keep this thread to questions only. Once the blog is done I'll create another thread with the answers and of course the blog entry. Also. PLEASE KEEP QUESTIONS TO SASUKE 26. Please do not ask about American Ninja Warrior 3 as it has not aired on G4.

Feel free to state your name, age (optional), City (or state, country, etc.) and your question and I'll send them over to David to answer. Thanks again David!

David, what standard workout training do you use (pull-ups, squats, bench press, etc.) besides obstacle-specific training and indoor rock climbing?

Cool I'll keep collecting the questions for a week or so. Thanks and keep them coming! I have comment moderation on so don't panic if you don't automatically see your question posted.

What goes through your mind before your run? What about during it?

Do you get the "tunnel vision" as well or are you pretty aware of your surroundings such as the crowd and random people cheering and shouting?

Any advice to settle ones nerves before running the course?

Hi, I like to build obstacles.

Which obstacle was the hardest for you to build and train on, and what obstacle do you want to build next.

Thanks

Who do you think it is a honour to compete with?

Who do you look forward to seeing ?

In your opinion and from your experience, what's the best way to train for "The Ultimate Cliffhanger" in the 3rd stage and did you (and others) failed there because the obstacle is really hard to overcome or was it because your arms have given up from clearing all the other obstacles before (including stage 1 and 2)?

What were the Japanese competitors' reactions to the Americans doing so well last year? I was wondering this because when I was watching the Japanese broadcast of Sasuke 26, it sort of seemed like people like Shingo Yamamoto were cheering for their Japanese friends, but not so much for the foreigners. What was the atmosphere like having the foreign competitors do much better than the locals? Thanks!! -Brian

How much do you keep up with the other (American) competitors from previous/present competitions? Do you train with them? Discuss the obstacles? Visit/talk with each other?
