Sasuke spoilerific review ;) Warning.. incoming blog of Sasuke 27.. if you don’t want to know.. you have been warned :D (Just remember.. the USA Broadcast of this.. will be.. well.. March, 2012.. Yes.. you read that right.. another 5 months after taping this event back in July... Thanks to everyone for being so patient. Got sick with headaches again this year and am still recovering from an inner ear infection.. yum.. Anyway.. For a preview of this event.. Please see SASUKE 27 NAVI 1 hour review of Sasuke 27 with fluff pieces of all the major players in the upcoming Sasuke and even a couple of runs that were cut from the official broadcast!. Oh.. and as Ube says: If you are from the G4 Forums, DON'T POST THIS THERE. They expect everyone to stick their head in the sand and pretend it doesn't exist.. P.S. I will NOT be covering ANW3 on this blog especially since it aired a couple months ago and I prefer to blog about everyone at once.. not in isolation! Thanks!
UBE'S Sorta-LIVE-BLOG FOR SASUKE 27 IS HERE!
27 Clears for Sasuke 27! Cue dramatic lineup! (and no for the last time this is not a record.. we had 37 clears in Sasuke 4)Btw as an aside.. amazing what you get when you give 2 months warning for a tournament instead of 2 WEEKS warning.. just saying..

LOL he's talking about the group he's in and the fact that he's a "Japanese Comedian" (yes.. said in English) LOL
Phew.. ready for Stage 2! That's on the right of your screen. You are looking at an arial shot since TBS has to justify the crane.. LOL Anyway.. Far left is Stage 4, top middle lit in white is Stage 3, multicolored box on the right is Stage 2 and the unlit portion at the bottom is the huge Stage 1.
Yeah that bandage is pretty wicked.. so yeah he must have fubarred it on saving himself on the Spin Bridge earlier :(
Yuuji yells Kanno to Stop (which actually is similar to Shingo a few tourneys back where they knew he would not do well and just called it off for him)
Yeah he gripped it too far down and didn't have much rope left to hang on to when his weight pulled him down
Luckily they are choosing to show his great accomplishment of being a SCH conqueror and being in the 3rd stage
and how he utterly destroyed the Spider Flip instead of concentrating on how he fell in the next obstacle :(
Next up is Mask Man! (actually in this clip they say Zebra) Yes.. that's what they are calling him LOL
This is the home of his parents back in Shimane Prefecture. Kouji moved away from home to attend a prestigious boarding school for High School then again away for College and still lives away from home.
There are displayed all of this saddle cloths. The ones with just numbers are all the Sasuke Trials Saddlecloths, the Sasuke ones are obvious and the certificates are the ones you earn for passing Sasuke Trials.
Proud parents love displaying their son's achievements. LOL Mom is saying he will achieve Kanzenseiha :)
Reminder: Obstacles for the 2nd stage remain the same! ① Slider Drop スライダードロップHmm.. the pole is sticking.. I know it was humid as all hell with the Typhoon fast approaching.. this might be reason for the problems on it
we got someone through! Wasn't he the 3rd person going? I lost track.. TBS screwing with the numbers is really throwing me off today
I want a doll made out of her.. she's so cute!!! Between her bouncing and covering up her smile and her tears.. she's just too kawaii
reminding everyone he passed the first stage. Uhm.. we know.. that's how we are in the 2nd stage.. Ah! Ube says he was the fastest of the Japanese competitors. Gotcha!
double scream here too... as Nagano leans forward to see if he is okay.. that head first was scary to look at!
Asa's been easy to spot with his pension for elaborate body painting. Each with their own meaning. This was from Sasuke 21's trials. This one was 夢 "yume" which means "dream"
サスケ道、Sasuke "doh", "the way of Sasuke" (like judo, sado (flower ceremony), it means "the way" In Chinese, it's the tao of Taoism), all martial arts use "do" as in training for it, you will reach enlightenment... hard to explain in English, in Japanese, it just makes sense
and this one showed up in Sasuke 27's trials which are yet to be aired. Seems M9 want us to pay for it... anyway... 頂 Itadaki, the peak, the top of... they often call the top of the tower Sasuke's itadaki
this tournament's message: 魂:meaning spirit or soul, so his back is meant to read "The spirit of Sasuke or the soul of Sasuke"
LOL someone is chanting something to him then he calls back.. Did it 3 times and each time was louder!
I see they took out the "training wheels" of the pole.. maybe Naoki's fail last tourney had something to do with it..
Swinging emotions as usual for Nagano.. Typical TBS asking him but Nagano saying he will be okay on the Salmon Ladder
